“The entire staff was so nice. Ms T and Brooke were super friendly abd talkative. The front desk lady was very nice as well. The rooms were comfy, clean, and very dark when the blackout shades were drawn. The lobby has tea and lemon water, coffee and mints on hand. The place is small and homey. Breakfast was good Parking is easy. Location is great. I would 100% stay here again. I have nothing bad to say. All places should have a staff as nice as this one does.”

“Unique place on a beautiful property. So peaceful with an amazing view of the lake. A bit confused at first about the seperate suites. We would definitely like to come back and spend more time exploring the area.”

“The room was nice and the breakfast, great. The only problem was that the pool was closed, and we had seen no announcement or indication that that was going to be the case. Since we travel with kids, the pool makes an enormous difference when we pick somewhere to stay. We paid a higher nightly price overall because we saw that this hotel had a pool. In other words, we paid for a service that we did not receive.”

“For $130, I would expect the room to be clean. Bathroom had alot of water damage under the sink on the wall same for around the bath. Sink faucet moved completly over when we turned it on and off. Breakfast was ok, but bread products were definitely not fresh.”

“As another reviewer said, the pictures posted by the hotel are deceptive. This place smelled so bad throughout, we checked out immediately upon seeing/smelling the room. I should have looked at more of the reviews. Things look dirty and dated, including carpeting and furniture throughout the building. It has the stench of urine/wet dog as soon as you walk in. “Staff was friendly! One of the most sketch places I’ve stayed. - the door did not close properly and I had to hold my whole body against it to close and dead bolt it since that was the only lock out of 3 that worked -no towels in the bathroom to use -the door to go inside was propped open by a rock… -my mattress had no fitted sheet, the bed was not fully covered -only 2 tiny lumpy pillows -no WiFi -only 2 of my lights worked and that was the bathroom and one lamp so it was very dark -leaving no……

“The room was clean, and there was plenty of hot water. That said, this little motel is really sad and in desperate need of some updating. The staff were friendly, but barely spoke English. The area is really quiet and peaceful. Except for Casey's, which does open till 7 am, there isn't much in the way of restaurants. Fortunately, Saline is only a twenty-minute drive.”
